How to read the board
Each row shows the flight number, the city it comes from or goes to, the scheduled time and the latest status. Times are local Turkish time (UTC+3 all year — Türkiye does not change its clocks). If you are tracking a connection from Istanbul, search for the flight number rather than the time: the same route can appear several times a day.
“Estimated” means a new expected time; “Landed” and “Departed” are actual times. The board is fed by third-party flight data, so your airline’s own app is always the final word on gates and boarding.
Delays and cancellations: what to expect
NAV sits about 942 m above sea level on the Central Anatolian plateau. Summer operations are usually smooth, but in winter fog, snow and icing can delay or divert flights, particularly early in the morning. The runway has a precision instrument landing system (ILS) and de-icing is available around the clock, which helps — but it does not make winter weather disappear.

From Göreme the drive is about 40 min; from Ürgüp about 45 min. Leave once the flight shows as departed from Istanbul.

The terminal is compact and arriving flights are domestic, so passengers come out soon after landing — the baggage belt is the main wait.
